The honesty stage

Ahhh yes... Miss J is still in the honesty stage. Let me share with you a portion of our conversation last night while reading stories in bed.

Miss J (while stroking the wrinkles in my forehead): Mommy why are these lines on your head?
Me (dumbfounded): Because I'm old.
Miss J smiles
Me: Is Mommy old?
Miss J: No....
Me: Who's old?
Miss J: Nanny & Poppy

Well, at least I came out of it OK at the end!!
(And for the record, Nanny & Poppy don't really look old!)

I guess I better get myself back on my self prescribed skin regime!
